Clear azure fills this fan. A leaf washed in bright sky-blue carries a compact spray of white and green flowers near the top, with a couple of butterflies drifting off to one side. Mounted on bamboo ribs, the crisp blue ground and tidy bouquet give it a fresh, clean-aired feel.
The composition is uncluttered: rather than trailing branches, a single gathered spray of small white blossoms and slender green leaves sits high on the leaf, leaving the bright blue largely open below. Materials vary from piece to piece — some are 100% cotton, others polyester, satin-finish, or a blend, depending on the design. You'll find the exact composition in the product description above, and it's always printed on the inner label of the garment itself. When the two ever differ, trust the label.
A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
