The denim shorts split down the middle, light and dark
These two-tone denim shorts borrow their logic from workwear: take two shades of denim, panel them together, and let the seams show. Lighter and darker blue meet down the leg, the joins picked out in contrast orange topstitching — the kind of detail you'd find on a carpenter's pants, pulled into something blockier and more graphic.
It's construction as decoration, and it works because nothing is hidden. The split between the tones gives the shorts a clean, halved look, while the orange stitch traces every seam like a highlighter, reading both utilitarian and a little branded up close. No graphic, no wash tricks — just two cloths and a bold thread.
Knee-length and relaxed, easy in the leg, on a five-pocket frame where the contrast stitching earns its keep holding the panels together. The detail isn't only cosmetic — it's doing a job.

A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
