How do I place an order on Japan Clothing?

Browse our catalog at japan-clothing.com, choose your items, select sizes and options, then click "Add to Cart". Proceed to checkout to complete your purchase through our secure payment page. A confirmation email will be sent to you instantly.

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account, however, allows you to track orders, manage your information, and access exclusive offers.

I haven't received a confirmation email. What should I do?

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still haven't received it after 15 minutes, contact us at support@japan-clothing.com with your name and approximate order time. We respond within 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we can usually modify or cancel it. Contact us immediately at support@japan-clothing.com or by SMS at +1 332-249-4051 with your order number. Once the parcel has shipped, modifications or cancellations are no longer possible — but you can return the order within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

How do I use a discount code?

Enter your code at checkout in the "Discount code" field. If valid, the discount will apply automatically. Some codes may have restrictions or minimum order amounts indicated in their terms.

Shipping & Delivery

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Shipping is free on all orders, with no minimum purchase required. All prices displayed on the Site include shipping costs and any applicable taxes and import duties.

What are the delivery times?

Average delivery takes 9 to 12 working days after order confirmation, including 1 to 3 days for processing and 6 to 9 days for international transit. Delivery may take slightly longer during peak seasons (Christmas, Black Friday, Chinese New Year). If your order has not arrived within 30 calendar days, we will issue a full refund or send a replacement at no extra charge.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you receive a tracking link by email. You can also find it in your customer account under "Orders". Tracking information may take 24 to 72 hours to become active after shipment. Items occasionally arrive in separate parcels with different tracking numbers.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide with free shipping and tracking included on every order, regardless of the destination.

Where are products shipped from?

We work with a network of international logistics partners. Depending on the product line, your parcel may be dispatched from a fulfillment partner in France, within the European Union, or in Asia. This international setup is what allows us to offer free worldwide shipping with all duties pre-paid.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?

No. All applicable duties and import taxes are included in the prices displayed on the Site. You should never be asked to pay anything additional upon delivery. In the rare event that local customs request an additional fee, pay it to receive your parcel, then forward us the receipt at support@japan-clothing.com — we will reimburse you in full.

Do the clothes run small or large?

Our pieces follow Japanese sizing standards, which typically run smaller than European or American sizing. We recommend going one size up from your usual size. A detailed size guide with measurements is provided on each product page.

Are product photos accurate?

Yes, all photos represent the actual product. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and lighting conditions. If you are not satisfied once you receive your item, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund — return shipping is on us.

Where are your products made?

Our pieces are produced in specialized workshops across Asia, selected for their craftsmanship and quality standards. Each item is inspected before being shipped from our partner warehouses.

What is your stock policy?

Stock availability is shown in real time on each product page. If an item appears available at checkout, it is available. In the very rare event of a stock issue after order, we contact you within 24 hours to propose either a replacement, a delay, or a full refund — your choice.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed through certified secure payment providers.

Is payment secure?

Yes. We use SSL encryption end-to-end and work with PCI-DSS certified payment processors. Your payment details are never stored on our servers — they go directly to the payment provider.

Will I be charged in my local currency?

Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) by default. Your bank or card issuer applies its own conversion rate at the moment of payment if you pay in another currency. We do not charge any currency conversion fees on our side.

Why was my payment declined?

Payment declines typically come from your card issuer (insufficient funds, daily limit, international transaction blocked, etc.). Try another payment method or contact your bank. If the issue persists, email support@japan-clothing.com and we will help you complete your order.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return an item?

Yes. You have 30 calendar days from the day after delivery to return any item for a full refund. Items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, with all original tags and packaging. See our full Return & Refund Policy for details.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. We cover the full cost of return shipping, including any international transport charges. Contact us and we will email you a prepaid return label.

How do I start a return?

Email us at support@japan-clothing.com within 30 days of receiving your order, with your order number and the items you wish to return. We respond within 24 hours, 7 days a week, with personalized return instructions and a prepaid return label.

Where do I send my return?

The return address is provided individually on each prepaid label we issue. Returns are sent to our logistics partner's warehouse, which may be located in France, in the European Union, or in Asia depending on the original origin of the product. Please do not ship returns to our administrative address in Narbonne — only parcels with our prepaid label will be processed.

When will I be refunded?

Once we receive your return and confirm the items meet our return conditions, refunds are issued within 7 to 10 working days to your original payment method. The maximum refund time guaranteed by law is 14 days from the date we receive the returned items. Your bank may take an additional 2 to 5 business days to display the credit.

Can I exchange an item for a different size or color?

We do not process direct exchanges. The simplest method is to return the original item for a full refund and place a new order for the size or color you want. This way you receive what you want faster.

What if my item arrives damaged or defective?

Email us at support@japan-clothing.com within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the item and the packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. You typically do not need to return the damaged item.

Yes, we offer digital gift cards sent instantly by email. They are valid on the entire site for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Japan Clothing is operated by Delaplace François, under the commercial name DAJE, a French micro-entreprise registered with the RCS of Narbonne under number 841 395 429. Our registered office is at 7 rue du Tangor, 11100 Narbonne, France. Our logistics operations are international, allowing us to offer free worldwide shipping.

How is my personal data protected?
