The noren scattered with indigo waves on cream
This noren is a split doorway curtain printed with rows of small, stylized breaking waves in indigo blue across a soft cream ground. The crests curl and scatter in the ukiyo-e manner, repeated lightly over the panel so the whole thing reads calm and airy rather than busy.
