The sukajan where a silver phoenix opens its wings
Don't be fooled by the name — this sukajan is pure satin-finish souvenir jacket, not denim. A silver phoenix spreads its wings across the back, embroidered in pale raised thread, with cherry blossom and a golden sleeve detail on the reverse. Named for Omotesandō, Tokyo's most stylish avenue, it's the elegant, fashion-forward end of the range.
The embroidery is graceful and dimensional. Worked in real relief with the sheen of true thread, the silver phoenix stands off the satin-finish shell, its wings and tail streaming out in fine detail. The pale bird against the dark ground reads refined and modern — less folklore, more fashion.
It's reversible, with the silver phoenix on a dark ground one side and a cream face with blossom and a golden sleeve on the other. The jacket keeps the classic sukajan build: a ribbed collar, snap-button front and ribbed cuffs and hem, in a smooth, light satin-finish fabric that drapes rather than stiffens.
