The sukajan where a red eagle dives over a dragon
This sukajan has a vintage souvenir-jacket spirit. A fiery red eagle dives down the back, wings spread wide, over a pale dragon and scattered blossom, embroidered in raised thread. It's bold and a little old-school — the kind of dramatic bird-and-beast scene the earliest souvenir jackets were known for.
The embroidery is vivid and dimensional. Worked in real relief with the sheen of true thread, the red eagle stands off the satin-finish shell in full colour, the pale dragon and blossom filling the scene around it. The contrast of the bright bird against the muted ground gives it a classic, slightly retro punch.
It's reversible, giving the scene two grounds: a soft Beige side in cream, and a Dark Red side in deep wine. Both keep the classic sukajan build: a ribbed collar, snap-button front and ribbed cuffs and hem, in a smooth, light satin-finish fabric that drapes rather than stiffens.
It's heritage streetwear with a retro heart. The sukajan was born as a post-war Yokosuka souvenir jacket, and a diving eagle is about as classic as the genre gets — wear it open over a plain white tee and dark denim, let the red eagle carry the look, and flip between cream and wine as you like.
