The wide denim shorts washed out like an old painting
Most denim graphics are sharp; these acid-wash denim shorts go the other way entirely. Over a pale, sandy bleached base, faded florals in rust, dusty blue and grey bleed into the cloth like watercolour left out in the rain — soft-edged, hazy, more art-school canvas than crisp print. They look weathered and a little melancholy, in a good way.
That blur is the whole character. Nothing is outlined or contained; the flowers dissolve into the acid wash so the eye can't quite tell where pattern ends and stain begins. On the wide, generous cut there's plenty of room for it to wander, which suits a finish this loose and painterly.

A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
