Cream Fuzzy Bucket Hat in Sherpa Faux Fur — Tokyo Winter
The Yuki Sherpa fuzzy bucket hat is built from soft cream-white sherpa faux fur, with a high-pile teddy-style surface that catches light unevenly across the entire crown. The pile sits dense enough to retain warmth in transitional and cold temperatures, and short enough not to flatten under regular wear or pack badly in a backpack. The sherpa construction draws on the wider Tokyo winter streetwear vocabulary that has run through brands like Beams, And Wander and the wider Ura-Hara workwear scene since the late 2010s.
The crown stays low-profile in the manner we apply across the Japan Clothing catalog, but the brim is structured slightly wider than our cotton bucket hats to balance the heavier sherpa surface. The interior is fully lined in soft polyester so the fuzzy bucket hat sits comfortably on bare skin without itching, even after extended wear. Stitching density on the seams runs at twelve to fourteen per inch, the same standard we apply to every fuzzy bucket hat in the winter edit, and the construction is reinforced where the brim joins the crown to prevent collapse.
The sherpa fuzzy bucket hat has become one of the defining winter accessories of Tokyo streetwear over the last few years, sitting alongside parkas, padded jackets and loose-cut scarves in the cold-weather wardrobes of Shibuya and Shimokitazawa. Cream and off-white tones specifically have a longer cycle in Japanese fashion than the saturated brights of European winter wear, where the goal is usually to soften the otherwise heavy black-on-black layering of Tokyo cold-weather looks rather than to compete with it.
Pair the fuzzy bucket hat with a black puffer jacket and selvedge denim for a clean winter silhouette, with a long wool coat and tailored trousers for a softer reference, or with a leather jacket and chunky boots if you want to push the cream sherpa against a harder outfit. The Yuki Sherpa sits alongside our other fuzzy bucket hats, fur-pile winter hats and cold-weather cotton pieces in the wider Japan Clothing accessories edit.

Japan Clothing is inspired by Japan, not made in Japan — and we want you to know it. Every piece in our collection draws from Japanese culture, design, and street style: from the energy of Tokyo's neighborhoods to the calm of Kyoto's workshops, from the prints of vintage textiles to the silhouettes of modern streetwear. We translate that inspiration into clothing designed for daily wear, anywhere in the world.
Our pieces are produced through manufacturing partners in Asia who share our standards for quality and craft. The exact composition of each piece is listed on its product page and inner label.
We don't sell an origin. We share a spirit.
