A scene straight out of an ukiyo-e print rides the cuff of this beanie — a graceful arched bridge spanning a river, flanked by fiery red autumn maples, a small figure crossing under a blue sky. It's a full woodblock landscape miniaturized into thread, a scene with real atmosphere.
The stitching gives the scene depth: the warm orange of the bridge, the blaze of red foliage, the cool blue of sky and water. The exceptions are t-shirts and hoodies, which run true to size, so take your usual size for those. Materials vary from piece to piece — some are 100% cotton, others polyester, satin-finish, or a blend, depending on the design. You'll find the exact composition in the product description above, and it's always printed on the inner label of the garment itself. When the two ever differ, trust the label.
A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
