The sole of these geta sandals is made to reduce noise and avoid slipping thanks to its rubber under the teeth. The cotton strap is wrapped around the platform like plastic around a flip-flop for added comfort when you wear it. The metal pad under the front of this Japanese sandal will greatly reduce the wear and tear on the wood when you start to use the geta!
