The Men's Jinbei 'Takehiro' carries that same spirit into today.
The fabric is cotton — the kind that softens with every wash and breathes without effort. On the left shoulder, a bamboo branch is embroidered across the chest: spare, deliberate, and unmistakably Japanese. Take — bamboo — has been a symbol of resilience and uprightness in Japanese culture for centuries. It bends in the storm but never breaks. This detail alone makes the 'Takehiro' something other than a simple loungewear set.
The cut follows the traditional jinbei silhouette: a crossover top that wraps and ties at the side, wide sleeves that fall to three-quarter length, and a single front pocket deep enough to be useful.
