The ring split between a horned mask and a fox
This ring fuses two masks into one striking face — one half a horned hannya demon in silver, the other a fox mask picked out in gold. Split straight down the center, it sets the fearsome against the cunning, two figures from Japanese folklore sharing a single sculptural face. It's the most dramatic piece in the range.
The detail rewards a close look: the demon's single horn and furrowed brow on one side, the fox's almond eye and golden flame-markings on the other, the two halves meeting cleanly down the middle. The hannya represents fierce, transformed emotion in Noh theater; the kitsune, the trickster fox spirit — together, a study in duality.
The gold accents lift the fox half against the darkened silver of the demon, giving the whole face contrast and depth. The shoulders carry small floral engraving that frames the masks. It's folklore rendered with real sculptural ambition.
Offered with gold accents, it's a piece meant to be noticed — worn on its own where the split face can do its work. For anyone drawn to the masks of Japanese theater and myth, it carries two of the most evocative in a single ring.
Sizes are given as inner circumference in millimeters, so measure your finger or an existing ring and match the closest figure for a secure fit. Skin-friendly and built for daily wear, it's duality you can carry on the hand.
The split face sits proud of the hand, so it's best worn alone where the two masks have room to read. It pairs with darker, edgier fits that match its folklore drama, and rewards anyone who knows the stories behind the hannya and the fox. A piece chosen as much for its meaning as its striking, two-sided design.

Our pieces are cut to Asian sizing, which runs smaller than US sizing — so as a rule, order one size up from your usual size. The exceptions are t-shirts and hoodies, which run true to size, so take your usual size for those. Every product page has its own size chart with exact measurements taken flat, so you can compare against a piece you already own. Still caught between two sizes? Email support@japan-clothing.com and a real person will help you pick the right one.

Materials vary from piece to piece — some are 100% cotton, others polyester, satin-finish, or a blend, depending on the design. You'll find the exact composition in the product description above, and it's always printed on the inner label of the garment itself. When the two ever differ, trust the label.
A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
Treated right, these pieces hold their shape, color and detail wash after wash.

Japan Clothing is inspired by Japan, not made in Japan — and we'd rather you hear it from us. Every piece draws from Japanese culture, design and street style: the energy of Tokyo's backstreets, the calm of a Kyoto workshop, the prints of vintage textiles, the cut of modern streetwear. We translate that inspiration into clothes built for daily wear, anywhere in the world.
The pieces themselves are produced by manufacturing partners in Asia. The exact composition of each one is listed on its product page and printed on the inner label — no guesswork, no fine print.
We don't sell you an origin. We share a spirit.
