The kitsune is Japan's most layered folklore figure — a fox that gains intelligence with age, shapeshifts into human form, and serves Inari, the deity of rice and prosperity. Revered and feared in equal measure, it runs through a thousand years of tales as both trickster and guardian.
This cap stitches a kitsune fox spirit on the front in embroidered detail, the form worked in thread for relief against the base. It's a mythology piece with real depth — chosen by people drawn to the stories, not just the shape.
