The black kimono-style nightdress scattered with flying cranes
Cranes in flight across black — this long nightdress trades the peacock for a whole flock. Cut kimono-style in a lightweight, satin-finish fabric, a black ground carries pink-and-white cranes mid-wingbeat with small gold star-and-floral motifs between them, tied at the waist with a self belt. It's nightwear made to wrap up in, not to be seen in.
The satin-finish fabric gives the black a soft sheen that lifts the cranes off it, the pink-and-white birds and gold accents reading clear, printed rather than woven so the flight stays crisp. - Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
