The kimono where a red sun rises over leaping carp
A round red sun sits low at the back while koi carp leap through violet-blue waves beneath it — this kimono jacket tells a small story of water and sky in a single panel. The deep purple in the waves is the unusual touch, lifting it out of the usual blue-and-white and into something moodier.

A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
