The lightweight kimono where plum blossom meets the crane
Red plum blossom tumbles down one side, a crane takes flight, and the kanji for 'crane' sits boldly at the back — this lightweight kimono jacket reads like a painted scroll you can wear. The composition is unbalanced on purpose, the way real Japanese textiles are, so the eye keeps moving across it.
