The pink pajamas with the calm of a hot-spring inn
Named for the hot-spring inns, Onsen carries the calm of a ryokan hot-spring stay straight into your evening. An asymmetric neckline closes to one side with frog buttons, edged with a small floral trim, over matching pink trousers — the side-closing front giving it a softer, more kimono-like line than a straight button placket, and the same wind-down feeling as a soak at the springs.
It's cut from lightweight cotton in a gentle pink, the asymmetric front fastened with knot buttons, the trousers straight with an elastic waist. The floral trim picks out the neckline and cuffs, the one print note on an otherwise solid, restful set.
The off-centre closure is what sets it apart from the round-neck versions — it nods to the wrap front of an onsen yukata while keeping the comfort of a modern pyjama. The soft pink reads calm rather than sweet, made for winding down.
