The kitsune is Japan's most layered folklore figure — a fox that gains intelligence with age, shapeshifts into human form, and serves Inari, the deity of rice and prosperity. Revered and feared in equal measure, it runs through a thousand years of tales as both trickster and guardian.
This cap stitches a kitsune fox spirit on the front in embroidered detail, the form worked in thread for relief against the base. It's a mythology piece with real depth — chosen by people drawn to the stories, not just the shape. The stitch sits raised against the twill, catching light where a flat print would simply lie there dull.

The exceptions are t-shirts and hoodies, which run true to size, so take your usual size for those. Materials vary from piece to piece — some are 100% cotton, others polyester, satin-finish, or a blend, depending on the design. You'll find the exact composition in the product description above, and it's always printed on the inner label of the garment itself. When the two ever differ, trust the label.
A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
