The harem pant with a wave sash that hangs at the hip
The detail that makes these is a small embroidered sash falling from the front waist — seigaiha waves, those concentric arcs of classic Japanese water, topped with curling crests of foam and stitched in cream thread. It hangs at the hip like a folded panel, turning a simple harem trouser into something with a real point of interest. The wave is embroidered, not printed: run a thumb over it and you feel the raised stitch.

A little care goes a long way with these pieces. To keep colors deep and fabric intact:
- Machine wash cold, 30°C / 86°F maximum — heat is what fades and shrinks
- Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colors
- Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent; skip the fabric softener on printed or embroidered pieces
- Do not bleach
- Hang to dry in the shade — avoid the tumble dryer, which is the fastest way to ruin the fit
- Iron on low heat if needed, and always inside out over prints or embroidery
- For anything delicate or unusual, follow the inner label first
