Pink Ukiyo-e Kimono Robe with Geishas, Pagodas and Soft Sakura

Pale pink satin holds entire scenes from Edo-period prints — geishas with parasols, pagodas in the distance, cherry trees folded into clouds. The print runs across the front and back of the kimono like a screen unfolded, every panel telling its own quiet story. The pink stays soft, never sweet; the gold accents on the obi line keep it grounded. It's a kimono that reads like a small museum on the body.

The cut follows the traditional silhouette: wide three-quarter sleeves, a deep V-collar, a hem that opens with each step. One size, made to wrap and tie at the waist with the included obi sash. The polyester satin has the weight and slip of vintage rayon — fluid against the skin, holding its drape rather than clinging to it. Bust 118 cm, total length 125 cm, sleeve 32 cm. It fits most adult frames comfortably, with room to layer a slip or a fitted top underneath.

You get the kimono robe and its matching obi sash. The print holds its tone through regular wear and gentle hand-washing. No costume packaging, no plastic accessory clutter — just the garment, ready to be folded into your wardrobe alongside everything else you actually wear.

It works as a robe in the morning, an over-layer in the evening, or a statement piece on its own — over a slip dress for a Daikanyama-style date, over wide cotton pants for something closer to Harajuku. It pairs naturally with bare feet at home, with leather sandals in summer, with ankle boots when the weather turns. There are two Japans in every wardrobe; this one leans toward the contemplative side.

Japan Clothing products are not manufactured in Japan.

They are inspired by Japanese culture, design, and aesthetics in order to share the spirit, symbols, and beauty of Japan through each creation.

Our clothes do not carry the “Made in Japan” label, but our inspiration comes from there—from the streets of Tokyo, the workshops of Kyoto, and the markets of Osaka.

Our materials are chosen for durability (thick cotton, resistant linen) and our pieces are designed to be worn as they are in Japan: a denim kimono, a haori with sneakers.

At Japan Clothing, we don't sell an origin, we share a spirit. 🇯🇵
